Supported Residential Services (SRS) are privately operated facilities that provide accommodation and support for people who require assistance with daily living, for example, people who are frail or have a disability. SRS must be registered with the Social Services Regulator and are monitored to ensure they provide certain standards of support and accommodation.
Every five years, a census of the SRS facilities is conducted to monitor trends and changes in the sector, the resident population and to understand a profile of the facilities as well as the residents they support. The report outlines the results of this census for 2023.
