They present their feelings, views and experiences so that other survivors, the community and professionals who work in the area can learn more about child sexual abuse and its effects. It may also encourage end empower other survivors to speak out.
The stories are valuable. They provide insight and knowledge for professionals working in this area, for parents to help keep their children safe, and for other adults charged with the responsibility of caring for children. Most importantly, their stories help raise awareness about child abuse.
