Adolescent support program

If you are between the ages of 12 and 17 and are known to Child protection you can access a range of services to assist you to live with your family or independently.

The program supports you to live at home or independently. You can access these services if you are know to Child Protection and aged between 12 and 17 years. 

The program is responsive and flexible so that young people who are in crisis or at immediate risk of harm can have their needs addressed. The program will also provide ongoing support and supervision where necessary, so that young people can establish themselves in an appropriate living arrangement.

Strategies used to achieve identified outcomes include providing information to clients and families, case management, referral, community development and group work.

Young people are referred to the Adolescent Support Program through Child Protection - Contact Child Protection.
